Acerca del evento

The Society for UAP Studies (SUAPS) is pleased to announce the upcoming online conference on “Varieties &

Trajectories of Contemporary UAP Studies,” a premier event dedicated to exploring the multifaceted dimensions

of current Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) research. This conference aims to provide a platform for

scholars, researchers, and experts from diverse disciplines to examine UAP comprehensively.

To prepare for the conference, we have curated a series of exclusive, targeted workshops, a unique opportunity for

specialists from the humanities, social sciences, physical sciences, and citizen science of UAP. These workshops,

closed to the public, will be held at the beginning of each day. They are designed to foster thorough debates and

possibly develop public recommendations to tackle the most urgent research issues in UAP studies. Insights

gained from these workshops will be showcased at the end of the conference, offering a valuable basis for ongoing

collaboration and knowledge exchange.

The conference will feature a distinguished lineup of keynote speakers (for more info, cf. the online program) and

panel discussions based on the latest research and findings from prominent scientists and scholars who have made

significant contributions to UAP studies. [Here we can insert a sentence or two on AARO]. These sessions will

provide a unique opportunity for scholars and interested attendees to engage in a dynamic exchange of ideas,

foster collaboration, and advance our understanding of this complex and fascinating phenomenon.

The Society is committed to maintaining a rigorous and scholarly approach throughout the conference, ensuring

that all contributions are evaluated on their merits and that the highest standards of academic integrity are upheld.

By bringing together experts from diverse disciplines, we aim to facilitate a comprehensive and interdisciplinary

understanding of UAP and advance the boundaries of human knowledge in this field. SUAPS invites academic and

non-academic researchers and experts from media, civic society, and political and cultural institutions to participate

in this groundbreaking conference, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.

Join us as we embark on a journey of discovery, critical inquiry, and knowledge sharing and contribute to

advancing our understanding of UAP.

Speakers include:

Dr. Douglas Buettner (Stevens Institute of Technology); Maya Cowan (Ph.D. student at State University of

New York, Binghamton); Dr. Brenda Denzler (Independent Researcher); Prof. Travis Dumsday (Concordia
